This is a great video, very informative...why others think genetics determine who gets ms otherwise there would be more diagnosis in every family where there is a person that has been diagnosed....I am from Tennessee & was working in Dubai, the UAE, as a civilian contractor when I fell severely ill & hospitalized, spinal tap, mri done, got dx with myletis, spinal inflammation and MS. One thing folks say in lack of vitamin D, sunlight but those citizens in that severely hot place in the UAE get too much sunlight but lots were still suffering from M/S

I know someone who has all the symptoms of MS, but their MRI's show no lesions, even with contrast

Interesting view point. According to the US government Medicare part C out of pocket limits do not apply to drug costs - so your outlay is not limited. Also - what happened to Medigap coverage? I really really hope that no-one relies on this lady for health insurance advice.

I hate this when someone says "the more I/you workout the better". It's some feel good stuff but it's bullshit... if someone with MS works out to failure all the time and does HIIT, their MS is going to get worse and worse REALLY fast... but nobody acknowledges that. Instead, they tell you to workout "more and more" and "harder and harder"... maybe it's my fault for taking things too literally but I think it's weird to LIE about it.. Why not tell people the truth which is to workout gently but regularly, and try to the find the sweet spot? Well that's harder for people who don't have MS to understand, and that isn't going to generate as many likes. So lets go ahead and lie and just say "the more you workout the better you'll feel" even though it's destructive, horrible advice... GFY

my doctors think that I have MS. I have to wait mouths to get the tests done to find out. I'm trying not to be but I'm scared. It explains so much about how my life has been. its been getting worse and the idea that I have to accept that ill never be independent I'll never be able to support myself is humiliating I cant even handle a full shift at work anymore. I've spent most of my life being blamed for my symptoms. for being lazy and selfish. I don't know what I'm more afraid of getting the diagnosis or not getting it and have everything people said about me being true.

I hate when i go to see my Doc, who is amazing, and i tell him about the things that are giving me a problem and he looks at me sadly and says "Its just MS" New elevated norms of pain, fatigue, cognitive impairment. Makes life and finding a job almost impossible

I’ve had bladder issues with my Multiple Sclerosis, but I’ve been using the spray my neurologist prescribed for me and now a lot of problems have stopped, especially at night.
